In a bid to promote digital inclusivity, the Celebration of Lives Onion Routing Network (i.e, COLORNET) is a secure internet infrastructure which seeks to provide free internet access, while operating as a transit internet provider. We operate high-capacity, fully-open Tor exit routers, aiming providing free internet access throughout the city where it is needed most.

Key Features

  1. Public Peering: We will establish public peering agreements with major internet connectivity providers. This will allow us to exchange traffic directly with these providers, improving network performance and reliability.
  2. IP Transit and Tor Endpoints: Our network will provide IP transit for local Tor endpoints, enhancing the privacy and security of our users. We will also offer onion services, allowing users to access services with anonymity.
  3. Peer Discovery: We will implement peer discovery mechanisms, enabling our network to dynamically find and connect with other networks.
  4. DNS Root Server Authorization: We aim to become an authorized root DNS server. This will improve our network’s performance and make it a crucial part of the internet infrastructure.

Our operating system, COLOS, empowers user computers to join their systems onto the network as relays, expanding internet access, and making compute resources available across the network.
